In the world of League of Legends, a new patch is always a highly anticipated event. League of Legends Patch 14.4 Pre-notes

League of Legends patch 14.4 pre-notes have been released, and there are a lot of changes in store for the upcoming update. The changes include champion buffs, nerfs, and adjustments, as well as system buffs, nerfs, and adjustments. Here’s a breakdown of what you can expect:

1) Champion Buffs

  • Ahri: Health Growth increased from 96 to 104, and Q AP Ratio increased from 45% AP to 50% AP.
  • Jayce: AD increased from 57 to 59, mW Mana Restore increased from 10/12/14/16/18/20 to 15/17/19/21/23/25, and mW Damage/tick increased from 35/50/65/80/95/110 to 40/55/70/85/100/115. ME now mirrors Lee Sin R knockback functionality.
  • Kai’Sa: R Cast Range increased from 1500/2250/3000 to 2000/2500/3000.
  • Lulu & Pix: Q Doublehit Damage increased from 25% to 50%, E Damage increased from 80/120/160/200/240 to 80/125/170/215/260, and E Shield increased from 75/115/155/195/235 to 80/125/170/215/260.
  • Renekton: Q Champ Healing increased from 12-36 (+ 15% bAD) to 12-44 (+ 17% BAD), E CD decreased from 16-12 to 16-10, and R Bonus Health increased from 250-550 to 300-700.
  • Soraka: P Movespeed increased from 70% to 90%, Q heal increased from 50-110 to 60-120, and R CD decreased from 160-130 to 150-120.
  • Thresh: Armor increased from 28 to 31, E damage increased from 75-235 to 75-255, and R CD decreased from 140-100 to 120-80.
  • Volibear: Q MS increased from 8-24% to 12-32%, E CD decreased from 13 to 12, R Turret Disable decreased from 3-5s to 2-4s, and R CD decreased from 160-120 to 130-100. R CC immunity has been removed (still unstoppable).

2) Champion Nerfs

  • Aurelion Sol: Q Bonus Magic Damage Per 1s decreased from 60-100 (+ 35% AP) to 55-95 (+ 30% AP).
  • Bard: Armor growth decreased from 5.2 to 5.0, Attack Speed increased from .625 to .658, P Damage decreased from 35 +14/5 Chimes + 30% AP to 35 + 10/5 Chimes + 40% AP, and Q Damage decreased from 80-260 + 65% to 80-240 + 80%.
  • Fiora: W AS Slow decreased from 50% to 25%.
  • Illaoi: Tentacle damage increased from 9-162 + 115% Total AD to 9-182 + 100% Total AD.
  • Kalista: Rend base damage decreased from 20-60 + 70% Total AD to 10-50 + 70% Total AD (Per-stack damage unchanged). Boots of Speed now properly affect passive dash distance (this is a buff).
  • Maokai: Armor decreased from 39 to 35, Q Damage decreased from 70-270 + 2-4% Max HP to 65-265 + 2-4% Max HP, and R root duration decreased from 0.8-2.6 to 0.75-2.25.
  • Varus: Base AD decreased from 62 to 60.
  • Zyra: Plant damage decreased from 20-88 + 18% AP to 16-84 + 18% AP, and bonus monster damage decreased from 40-100 to 60-100.

3) Champion Adjustments

  • K’Sante: All Out Q no longer slows, All Out W no longer has a faster CD or cast time, E dash speeds reduced 20-40%, Health increased from 570 to 625, Mana increased from 290 to 320, and W Armor/MR Ratio increased from 50% to 85%.
  • Rek’Sai: Passive healing, tunnel dash speed, and tunnel cooldowns buffed.Smolder will receive some changes to Q, W, and R.

4) System Buffs:

  • The pre-notes for patch 14.4 include some significant system buffs.
  • Black Cleaver will receive some changes to its shred cap, Kindlegem + Long Sword, and passive MS. 
  • Fountain Regeneration will increase Max Health Regen Per 1s to 10.4%. 
  • Mana Mage Items will receive +5 Haste. 
  • Ravenous Hydra will receive a new active benefit. 
  • Stridebreaker will receive a change to its passive MS. Terminus will receive some changes to its active MS and Dagger.

5) System Nerfs

The pre-notes for patch 14.4 include only one system nerf. Lethal Tempo (Melee) will receive a change to its Melee AS Per Stack.

6) System Adjustments

  • The pre-notes for patch 14.4 include some significant system adjustments. 
  • Hubris will receive some changes to its VFX. 
  • Red Side Camera Offset will increase visibility on the bottom of the screen for the per-side offset camera option. 
  • Support Items will receive some changes to their charge rate, first charge, Bloodsong ranged amp, Solstice Sleigh health, MS, and Zaz’Zak’s Damage.
