In recent reports google has warned its users about a cyberattack which can read their emails without authorization.
Hackers are able to read emails through this attack which was earlier detected by Google’s Threat Analysis Group (TAG).
These recent activities are being conducted on users based in iran according to a report published in FORBES news.
The attacker runs HYPERSCRAPE on their own machine to download victims’ inboxes using previously acquired credentials.
According to TAG,
The hacker group is known to be charming kitten, running this tool to gather information.The tool doesn't only effect Gmail but yahoo mail and Microsoft outlook accounts are also in danger.
Google has already notified all its users to resecure their accounts. By resetting passwords.
